You can't engage players on the ice when you are on the bench. You can't engage players on the bench when you are on the ice. He will get suspended. It has nothing to do with them playing Toronto or because Sportsnet is showing the replay at intermission.

I love the way MT plays. Ho CARES about winning and losing and gives an all out effort. He's young and not getting paid and has some fire in his crotch. Cheap jab, but so what? He is competitive. If we had five MTs on this team we would be more competitive. Oh, he's so young he'll fill out more if he hits the weights and might be a wrecking ball that no one wants to deal with. I get that it was a stupid play to spear a player, and that he's flirting with another suspension for something like that.

But I just don't understand how a suspension for the crosscheck to the head he just took isn't a consideration for any fan following the NHL (except Simpson!). I get that one play is hockey related and one has nothing to do with anything, but very odd standard regardless.
