I hear ya, being I am not a Calgary fan per se, but a Flames fan, I cant relate.
The positive thing about it is, being a 9 team league, Calgary will certainly have many more chances to win in the future. So you can have your celebratory moments then. No need for the misery Strange Brew!

The notion that a sporting event made up of mostly American's is considered the "biggest sporting event" in Canada. We just don't have many big sporting events outside of hockey I guess. I understand that many Canadians enjoy it but it is embarrassing if that's the biggest sporting event in the country. Wasn't even sold out
