Maybe Jagr wants to avoid the Toronto press, again. Wouldn’t blame him.

My guess is 5 - 1 Leafs still feel sick about that Oilers loss. I'm a fan but I need a break from watching games.

The only thing I've got is that we tend to win games that we shouldn't, and we play better on the road.
4-3 OT win for the Flames.

Came here to say this. Expecting a big game from the hometown kid, he's been rolling the last few games.

I'd have hoped he'd be money when presented with a clear cut scoring chance, but that has not been the case at all.

Agreed, I don't want to see Jagr out but this line might do some damage tonight, Hathaway had a great game against philly.

I have no idea what to expect tonight.
I expect the Flames to come out hard after yesterday's skate, and losing to Edmonton and Philadelphia. They also lost to the Leafs, so I would of course expect some extra motivation from this team.
With that being said, it seems like Giordano, Brodie, and some other Ontario lads on the Flames end up doing terribly. I don't know if it is the distractions, or if it is the extra pressure, but it sure seems like they play worse.
I expect the Flames to come out tonight, and when they get hit with adversity... I guess we will see. Hopefully they stay composed and just skate hard every shift, and put a lot of pressure on that Toronto D.

5-0 Flames.
They'll come out a bit slow but Smith keeps them in it, then its foot to the throat until the end.
Bennett with 2, Hamonic, Hamilton, and Frolik.

With the way things have been going for the Flames lately, I'll start this early...

#Flames RW Jaromir Jagr officially out tonight with nagging lower-body injury.
Terry Koshan @koshtorontosun
Gulutzan confirms Jagr will not play vs. #Leafs. "Same injury (lower body) as before. Kind of recurring. It's a day-to-day thing."

That is still a projected 97+ points. On the season they are projected for 88 points, probably not good enough, but win the next three and that changes wildly, back to a 96 point pace.
Flames saw the Leafs a week ago, and had Frolik's comments about them not playing defense thrown in the face. I predict a 4-2 Flames win.

We just got our asses handed to us by two of the worst teams in the League.
And we didnt just lose, we got eviscerated.
A little negativity is more than understandable.

Hopefully they just give Jagr time to rest and recoup instead of going through this every couple games.

Jagr did look to tweak his groin when going down awkwardly against the Flyers.

Andersson the goalie for the leafs tonight. I wonder how many times we'll get to hear about his numbers vs the flames and the west during the broadcast...
ugh, i hate losing to the leafs.
Please let there be a miracle tonight.

Any chance you can throw the start time in the title? Already seen the start time but may be useful for others throughout the day.
Cheers!

2-1 Flames. Smith stands on his head and Gulutzan takes credit for the team sticking to the system.
The meltdown comes tomorrow against Montreal
