I think you are dead wrong if you believe Brodie would not be coveted league wide. There would be huge demand for him, warts and all. I also think it would be foolish to trade him while his value is lowered.

Are you still sure of this?

Nothing as endearing about a head coach as always losing to EdMitten. Extend GG!

Why would having an average goalie increase the Oilers' goal total?

Would not trade TJ Brodie now as will get a poor return given his overall play the last 1.5 years. First have to try change of coach. Team is underperforming for sure, GG has had plenty of time but aside from a 10 game hot streak last year the team has not looked good enough. I would definitely support firing GG and trying someone like D Sutter, then if the team still struggles can make some personnel moves.

A team that leaked four goals in eight minutes was the team Gulutzan had to beat tonight. He couldn't do it.
If this isn't an indictment on the coaching staff, I'm not sure what more has to happen. The comeback attempt was exciting but the fact that it had to happen in the first place is mistifying. Is it October 2016 again? Because it sure felt like it -- only thing missing was Nick Grossman.

I don't know what to say about that. It's great that they raised hell and at least lost with some dignity, but at same time, there reaches a point where effort on its own is not enough. At the very least, I'm less upset than I was an hour ago. I'd be lying if I said that third period wasn't fun.

It was fun for 8 minutes, sure. Flames really #### the bed and some weak goaltending made for a wild finish. We got beat by a bad team.

Didn't catch the comeback portion but if they did visibly abandon the system then this shouldn't be lost on the GM.

Our forwards cherry picking didn't help matters. Too many players escaping the zone early looking for that breakway pass. The defence will never be any good if the forwards don't help. It's a cluster####

Fire Gulutzan.
|
Admittedly I stopped watching after the 2nd. Is this truly what happened or just fake news from the fire GG crowed? Not saying you’re wrong at all, I literally want to know if the team looked like they ignored his system? If so, Gulutzan needs to go.

I disagree, that was a hideous mess of a hockey game where we were pummeled for 50 minutes by our arch enemy, and while we not only lost two points we handed them two. Miserable game.

Brodie is painful. That save was easy for rittch to make. What in the f$$$ are you doing reaching back and tipping in. Seriously felt like the boys were going to tie it. Hes painful. Bench him or throw him in the 3rd. Hamilton is lazy as hell. Good for benett to net some tonight. Thats the only positive in this s#it show of a game.

There was nothing fun about that game except maybe 8mins of it. We lost to a team who didn't have there top two defenders on it and there number 1 goalie.
