Agree. Kind of like the Phoenix game. Heavily out play them in the last 2 periods. Nice comeback win.

Yet they can play fine against Crosby and Ovechkin.
How the hell are the Flames so intimidated by the Oilers of all teams? They want to feed into the hype?
And look, next game Oilers are gonna get ####-kicked.

Oilers are the flames kryptonite since Gulutzan showed up.
For me unless he's winning two playoff rounds he's gotta find a way to beat edmonton or he should be fired this summer.

I posted in the "GG is a good coach" thread that the team doesn't play with consistent effort and some disagreed with me. I'm sorry but it is obvious to people who watch every game. If the effort improves this could be a great team. That's on coach.

I'd think very hard about sitting Brodie for a bit, some nights he's solid with Hamonic but more often than not they're train wrecks.
My fear is that it might just straight up make him mentally checkout rather than motivate him back to where we want him.

Was Khaira Jankowski's man on the 3rd?
He was close by but didn't cover him. Saw people saying it was on Brodie but didn't get to see the replay.

Brodie is a huge problem. He’s playing worse than any defenseman on the team

The flames are inconsistent, mentally weak and not well prepared. Could point to a coaching deficiency.

Love or hate GG, as a Flames fan there is no tolerance for not showing up against the Oilers. He should be irate right now. Get these guys ####ing going or GTFO.

I can’t believe the focus on Kris Russell here, like Jesus CBC, let it go already.

Brodie is looking bad because he's playing in GG's system.

Why not TRY a different set of pairings?? That 2nd pair has been crap since the first period of the season, and no change 25 games in.

Monahan can't will the defense to not be stupid, or the team to not take dumb penalties.

To be fair to the Flames, they're consistent in letting the Oilers kick their ass. So they got that!

So I'm saying if he can't change the game, he should go. The players look so lazy and confortable like they don't care about the game.

Combination I think of Brodie forgetting how to take the body or skate or do anything worthwhile when he’s not dropping the puck back on the PP, and Gulutzan being maddeningly inflexible
