All of a sudden, the Flames are just clinging to the last wildcard position. Anxious days ahead?

As long as the coach pulls the same crap.

No matter how the team plays, no matter what they do, win, or lose, these threads always end up being about the coaching. It's a weird Groundhog's Day kind of phenomenon.

Actual facts- team comes out flat and unprepared to often
Constant misuse of players/ice time
Worst pk in league
Terrible/predictable breakout system
Team surrenders the blueline
Theres more but hey Im not a coach so its just my eyetest.
And why is he the only coach to avoid the dressing room after a game! What is that

This is 100% wrong. Leafs came into this game with a plan shut down Calgary, and are executing. Flames came in with a plan to play exactly like they do against every team. When it works we look really good, when it doesn't we get this mess.
Flames are being out shot and especially out chanced.

Just saying that he knows what it's like to come home after a long road trip and that he saw it happen, even to himself. He talked about dropping your guard mentally after a long trip, and that there are distractions from home life that suddenly have to be dealt with (honey do list and other things).
These are people with lives and families. I know we want them to be robots, but they're humans.
Also, they gave credit to the Leafs saying that the Flames were playing a pretty good team tonight. He also mentioned that when they came out west last year, they played terribly, and Babcock likely reminded them of that.

pointless post
sure he is a great coach but it has nothing to do with GG...he is also such a great coach they finished dead last and drafted #1 overall to add to all the other high picks on their roster.
GG has to deal with the bottom six forwards he has got...pretty hard to blame him for bad players playing poorly

Flames playing a typical lack luster 1st game back from road trip. Hoping for a strong 3rd come back.
