What does TSN mean”hit”? It was a cross-check to the side of the face...and a vicious one at that

Glad it’s being addressed anyway.

Should have been one for Benn's knee on Johnny too.

Crossed checked Tkachuk into the backside of the net and got him a couple more times for good measure but the second last one or the last one went into Tkachuk side of his helmet/ear/neck area. More due to Tkachuk slipping down the net than Landeskog raising his strikes IMO.

Don't know if it's going to warrant a suspension. But Landeskog was more that just aggressive on that penalty.

Good. I watched the replay again and it was a straight hit to the head. No doubt about it.

Tkachuk will get 1 game suspension because of this.

He's a repeat offender for crosschecking someone in the head, he should get two to three games.

Repeat offender, got 3 games last March for a vicious crosscheck very similar to the one on Tkachuk:

I think he should get at least 4 if not more considering he’s a multiple suspension player and the latest one is a very similar infraction to what he did to Tkachuk.

Byfuglien got 4 games for a more egregious crosscheck on Miller, I would say on the face of it Landeskog's warrants two games. However, Landeskog has already been suspended twice in his career so if they decide this one is suspendable, I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple more tacked on as a repeat offender.

Didn't know he's done it before, don't care to follow the avs enough to know these things.

I'll say a game or two after knowing this.

Nobody hurts our little innocent Chucky like that and gets away with it!

Chcuky wouldn't hurt a fly, yet here's a player cross checking him through the face

I'm just surprised they didn't give Tkachuk a hearing for hitting Landeskog's stick with his face.

You both took it the wrong way. Especially sempuki.

I find it hilarious that Chucky not only leads the NHL in drawn penalties, but may have also drawn 2 suspensions 23 games into the season already.

I think he got so used to drawing penalties that he got bored and decided to step it up a notch by trying to draw suspensions.

Targeting the head with a hockey stick should be dealt with more harshly than doing it with a body check.

Repeat offender as well.

Landeskog should get at least 5 games.

Exactly.

What did McSorley get again when he hit Brashear in the head with a slash? Ok, maybe not pre-meditated, but still vicious, so give him half of the McSorley suspension.

I found that play by Landeskog to be particularly vicious and unnecessary.

McSorley got 23 games, I believe.

No, Landeskog will not get half of 23 games. 5 at most.
