You should email the team's communications department. It's listed on their website. The director of digital and social media is

Does the CC button work on any of the other NHL.com videos?
It's not perfect but here is a summary:
Quote:
DR: I’d say ‘thanks guys’ because they play unbelievable. Block every single shot so, it was good for me.
Reporter: You showed some grit, yet they put pressure on you but you held up.
DR: Oh, you know, if you want to play at this level you can take pressure.
Reporter: Last one just screened?
DR: Those two screened goals, so – sometimes happen but we won and I’m happy about it.
Ryan Leslie: Dave, how do you evaluate your performance given everything – the pressure, the win, everything and the way you played. How do you evaluate tonight?
DR: << silence, smiles at Ryan >>
Ryan Leslie: What do you think of tonight?
DR: Oh – yeah… I think it was a good game. I already said, guys played very well. They helped me – it’s just 26 shots or something so it wasn’t too too much like in Dallas for Smitty and I feel great and I don’t know what I can say more.
Ryan Leslie: What did you think about the way you played.
DR: I think I should be better with the screen – like, these two goals, I want to try, find the puck, and catch it.
Ryan Leslie: Were there nerves? Were you feeling nervous at all?
DR: No. You know I’m not nervous, so it’s okay.
Reporter: When did you know you would get the start?
DR: Yesterday, after game, Jordan Sigalet say to me I will play today. So I had a lot of time before – warmup and everything, get ready for the game.
Reporter: You talked this morning about how excited you were just to get a start. Can you put into words what it means now to win in the NHL?
DR: Still excited, hopefully still will be.

I like that attitude that he'll openly name stuff he wants to get better at. Makes me wonder if his team mates will go "dude, don't advertise your weaknesses" though

He's very "Halak in MTL during their conference final run" in terms of playing style. I like it. Good for him to make a solid first impression. Now the challenge is going to be can he do this repeatedly with a 6-7 game break in between starts. Because Smith is going to be doing most of the heavy lifting in net regardless of how good the #2 is.

So true. The real acid test for a developing goalie in a clear #2 role.
Only 3 back to backs in December. 2nd games of those back to backs are: Dec 7 Montreal; Dec 17 Vancouver, Dec 29 Anaheim.
Not much playing time unless other plans to give Smith a bit more of a break beyond back to backs which may be the case.

The thing going for him in this regard is he is kinda use to going long periods between games due to the long breaks in the ahl schedule and the heats seeming preference for Gillies. I don't think Rittich has ever had a long extended run with the heat.

I'm so happy for Rittich. He's calm and composed - like Kipper. To think we also have 2 more great goalie prospects in the system besides him is very comforting.

Johnson: "Good thing they didn't go high glove side more, I'm really bad at those".
Hiller: "I don't hug the post in my normal style so those shots often go in".
Lack: "I hope they miss the net".

If he continues to play well, and the team can win with him in net, he will get more games than just the 2nd half of back to backs. It is in his best interests, Mike Smith's best interests, and the team's best interests.

Rittich played well, but I also thought the Flames did a good job at limiting high risk chances and second shots. There were three really good chances I recall (though I'm probably missing some). Two cross crease saves and one breakaway.

Still waiting to hear about Mantha. I think Player Safety may have dropped his claim sheet under the desk by accident.

Yes it appears all the "Flames" videos the cc button is locked, (will check NHL).
NHL.com videos seem to be working. Went to the Flames site and the ones i tried were locked.

I thought Rittich's rebound control was off the charts. Like every shot would just stick to him somehow.
Hopefully he can keep it up.

I agree wholeheartedly - Rittich's rebound control was very impressive. As was his composure, and his glove.

I noticed how quick to his feet he is.
I remember in hockey school and practices having to do that all the time . Feet to Butterfly jump to feet hundreds in a row.
Rarely do you see goalies actually use that in games let alone the dozens of times he did.

I noticed that as well, usually when a goalie is nervous (he should have been) they tend to not to play "soft" and give up rebounds everywhere, I was also impressed with his quick glove and lateral movement.
Unless he hits a wall of sorts I think he's a keeper. (no pun)

Who would have thought that the answer to some of the team's problems were hiding in the AHL on our own farm team? Amazing what a little opportunity can do? Hopefully the team will stop signing garbage veterans and let their own home grown talent take a run at filling some of these gaps. Next problem to send down permanently is Bartkowski, and replace him with Andersson. Come on Flames, you know you want to!

Almost as if they want their prospects to get a ton of ice time and have some established players sit on the bench. What a concept.
