Way too many unforced errors leading to scoring chances and goals against.
Just make the smart play and play it off the boards and out guys...

The Jankowski-line has looked good tonight. Time to get back on the scoresheet!

Powerplay Quarterback

Gio - Stone
Brodie - Kulak
Hamilton - Hamonic
Just put those d-parings in a blender and see what sticks.

Except on the PP. Hamilton over Brodie any day on the PP.
Which is the one place where Brodie plays over Hamilton

I have to admit.. the Dallas building is loud and rocking today. Sounds/looks like a super fun atmosphere!

that's the second time this season hamilton's been responsible for a horrible play on a last minute goal against. but they gave up the line way too easily. there was a 5 foot gap when the stars gained the zone

The Flames goals have been off good plays by the Flames. The Stars goals were all off bad plays by the Flames. If they clean it up in the third they win.

They're playing well but we need more from the other three lines.

System. System. System.
Our breakout lanes/lack of movement during breakouts lead to so much pain. The gap between our D and Forwards leaves our D so few good options far too often. Then when we get forechecked aggressively, we have no puck support.
It’s an actual issue with the structure of how we handle the defensive zone. I have to think the lack of support is so we can utilize our puck moving D, but damn if it isn’t working.

He had the right idea.
Now, execution wise... that was an entirely different story altogether. Just absolutely wires it right into a Stars player instead of out to the neutral zone.

Flames just need to focus in on the little things for the third. Just play smart, give them no space and out work their d.
Hopefully Ferland returns

Has Brodie had his daily brainfart yet? Started watching during the 2nd period, just curious if he's gotten that out of the way

Our D commit so many unforced turnovers.
It's embarrassing

I was just going to say, they are redundant and we also have kylington who also supposedly suffers from defensive lapses.
Flames have gotta move one our top 4 dmen this offseason. Completely overrated.

Rousseau penalty was weak-ish but likely a result of several missed calls on Benn.
Radulov scores after he blatantly slashes twice. Should have been in the sin bin.

The third line is due. They've put some really good pressure on and generated some chances. Hopefully they get one in the third.
Have to say, our vaunted defense is pretty good at making stupid plays. Brodie and Hamilton both need to get their #### together. Right now, the best pair out there is Kulak and Stone, and that hurts to say. Defense needs to get it together, or Gulutzan needs to change things up a bit and shake up the pairings.
