What the heck is up with Vegas anyway?
Aren't they just a motley crew of other team rejects? Yet they keep defeating solid NHL clubs.
Are other teams just not taking them serious? I think we should.

One thing to keep in mind is that it's not just Barzal the Oilers "passed on". Guys like Chabot, Boeser and Connor were in the vicinity as well.
And I guess in that respect, so did we. Would anyone of those players (plus 2 seconds) justify a re-do of the Hamilton trade?

IMO no.
Not only did we scoop a young first pairing D, we also kept him out the rosters of our rivals. As nice as those names are, I keep Hamilton.

I love how excited Kevin Quinn gets whenever McDavid touches the puck. It't like he is the only player of interest on the Oilers' team.

In *retrospect*, yes -- but you never get a retrospect. You could as easily draft a Virtanen as a Boeser.

Both of these teams are pretty bad. Buffalo has had 3 harmless shots on goal so far and Edmonton only one in the first 7 mins of the game.

Vegas is still beating almost every kind of team. I can't believe that team might make the playoffs. Crazy sauce.

This Sabres power play makes Edmonton's defensive coverage and PK look all world.

These two teams deserve to be bad forever for how hard they tanked.

Both these 2 teams can barely pass or handle the puck. Embarrassing.

The Oilers have never tanked. They have been terrible despite more than a decade of honestly trying their hardest. It's hilarious.
