That's a really interesting, yet unappealing, way to put it.

Now, I usually use the word irony wrong, but I think a bump of a thread 10 years later about someone who didn't read dates certainly qualifies, especially with a serious reply or two...

I know I've talked about eating expired food before, just not in this thread apparently, but...
about a month or 2 ago my wife found some black bean sauce in the fridge that had an expiry date in 2009.
I had some on crackers, still living.

I found Mike 'n Ike's from 2007 in my backpack yesterday. They didn't smell off.

What happens if you leave a nearly full 2L carton of almond milk out overnight? Is it still safe to drink since it's basically just nuts converted into milk?

I dont think it matters because I dont believe almonds have nipples, so how can they be milked?

I have a friend who stopped buying food this past year, and is getting all of his groceries from dumpster-diving behind whole food stores. He has saved over $8,000.

I read the OP and thought you drank milk from 2008. I was wondering how that would even happen, I was very worried about you!

Who spends $150+ on groceries per week for themselves. Unless he has a family he is feeding with dumpster food? I'm also assuming he isn't pulling meat or dairy out of the dumpster. So he's spending that much money on grains and canned food?
Those numbers just don't add up.

Considering that hes pulling his meals out of dumpsters I dont know how highly accurate his math is.
He probably learned math out of a dumpster too.
