Hoping his career ends soon is pretty harsh.

When Alex Chaisson played in Dallas, was GG also the head coach at the time? Another failed reclamation (at least when he was gifted first-line minutes).

Gotta feel bad for the guy. It's gotta be one of the toughest jobs in the league to not play for weeks at a time and be expected to come in on occasion and win before going back to the bench for another number of weeks.

Such as? When you look at the goalies who switched teams this summer, none of them really jump off the page as a missed opportunity for the Flames.
I know some people like Pickard, but he wasn't available during the summer and it wouldn't have made sense to claim or trade for him early in the season.
The only option that would have made sense would have been to go with Gillies or Rittich as the backup from the beginning.
Acquiring a cheap veteran who put up decent numbers in Vancouver isn't the worst thing to do. As we're seeing now, they're not too proud to make a change.

That wasn't a failed reclamation by any means. We had horrible rw depth, so Chiasson played higher in the line up than he should have. As a 4th liner, which is where he ended up, he was pretty good... wouldn't have been opposed to having him back on the 4th line.

12 goals and 12 assists for a bottom six forward who made less than a million ... Chiasson was everything but a failure during his Flames tenure.

If those are legitimate, they're stacks of $100s. The yellow bands indicate $10,000 per stack.
There's five stacks per bundle and 6 bundles (plus a little bit more). It's a bit over $300,000 in the push-up photo.

I honestly don't get the hate for those pictures. Maybe he won it all at the casino and he feels guilty for not doing any work for the money so he decided to work out with it. It's just a kid with buttload of money. Let him have his fun and so stupid things lol.
I'll always like him even if it's just for the way he punched Cooke.

So when do we find out who's are new back up for the time being? Does lack have to clear waivers for us to bring up another goalie?

Just flossing over the fact he spent nearly half the year in the top 6? Chiasson sucked and I am sure glad he wasn’t qualified.

he was 9th in TOI among forwards, and the 1st line experiment was very shortlived. Let's not rewrite history here, Chiasson spent nowhere close to "half the year" in the top 6.

Nice cherry pick m8 but the Flames still have holes on RW and in net and there is no reason to be confident that either problem will be fixed by the time Gaudreau either gets his 10M or goes elsewhere to win. The flames have wallowed in mediocrity for 20 years and neither the fans nor the ownership want to see things change.
I'd much prefer we go the path of Toronto and realize that the problem is systemic to the organization.

LOL at the baiting. A team that, within the past 20 years, was one win away from a Stanley cup sure is a team wallowing in mediocrity.

Lol that sums it up, come one win away on a fluke run and Flames fans are content. No wonder we get to see the same garbage year after year.

A bottom six forward who spent over 40% of his ice time on the top line. Chiasson's time here was a failure, but less due to his own failings and more due to the coach playing him way out of position.
