I know I'm behind on the GT but Mcdavid and Draisaitl are technically under 10 million on base salaries this year. I'm sorry I had to be that guy

You'd play well too if there was even a hint of getting traded to BUF!

Just tuning in now. How is the defense, particularly Brodie playing?

Love the way Gulutzan has the boys playing right now. Solid road game so far.

I loved me some Yelle back in the day, but let's be honest, he was a 3rd line center at best.

You could probably get away with it with a regular cut suit, but these new slim fitting suits make the guys look fat if they keep it buttoned.

I'm watching NHL network right now, and the guys are sitting and most of them are keeping the jackets buttoned, but they are more traditionally cut suits and it doesn't look awkward.

Hence the *.

McDavid is making $12.5M next year, seems silly to use his ELC salary.

Hahahaha, it showed "J. Hiller" with the second assist when Johnny mentioned playing video games!

@ToriePeterson
Gulutzan has his top line going head-to-head with other top lines. Thus far tonight, pitted against the Ovechkin line throughout the night:

Johnny - 1 goal, 2 points, 70 CF% (5-on-5)
Monahan - 1 goal (PPG), 71.43 CF% (5-on-5)
Ferland - Leading the #Flames with a 75 CF% (5-on-5)

Johnny at the Children's Hospital could easily be mistaken for one of the children.

For what it's worth, I've never worn a suit in my life and even I know that you unbutton it when sitting

Mike Smith knows when to make a save. I feel like we’ve got a “big game, big moment” goalie here. That’s potentially huge come playoff time.
So you're saying he's the Sean Monahan of goalies?

having Ball/Hrudey call the game is such a treat. Really appreciate it, especially in comparison to crews like the horror show that called the Wings game.
