That's great and all but when he is on the top pairing on d, he needs to be WAY better in his own end. Its bordering on abysmal at this point the way he is fighting the puck and not being where he needs to on top of not being very hard to move.

Seems like something clicked for Monahan halfway through last season. I’d be interested in his goals per game since then. If you include playoffs, he has 15 goals in his last 23 games.

Gaudreau up to a 125 point pace so far this season. For a guy that has typically started slow and finished strong, this is promising. I see him easily getting 100 points.

100 percent agree, I was just blown away he had that many points. I wouldn’t have thought he had that many at all.
