First game I've missed in a while, glad after seeing this result. Gonna pretend this didn't happen.

The Detroit Red Wings are a damn good hockey team with a proud and storied tradition. I would expect nothing less than the effort they put forth tonight given us beating them 6-3 last week at the Dome.

If this group wants to win a cup, it needs to learn to win these games. And I think that is going to be the next evolution of the team if this core is going to have a chance at a cup. They came up against a proud club who were out to prove a point.

Really impressed by GG post game comments. I thought he was really level headed and well spoken. It will be interesting to see how they come out against Philly.

Good on the coach for being brutally honest.

Ferland looked like he wanted to kill someone between the benches. Wings are lucky he didn’t get a hold of someone.

Well, no.

I will agree that Smith has been terrific, and he has stolen a couple of games. But the team has played a bunch of legitimately excellent games in which they were full marks for the wins from stem-to-stern.

This was just all round an awful, dog of a game.
