Flames lack of speed is really showing. Detroit has several guys that can just flat out fly and the Flames don't have the speed to catch them, nor the discipline to contain them.

I think after the own goal, Brodie tried too hard to make up for it, and it went south. Then he lost confidence and things went further south on even the easy plays.

Nah we gave up a long time ago. We looked pretty fast against the Blues and Detroit during our home stands. The lack of getting a timely save when needed after Brodie doing his usual Brodie things has done it's damage.

Glad I missed most of this one. But wow the empty seats, and I would think they pretty much give tickets away for peanuts anyways. Hockey is really strong in Detroit.

I find it curious NHL TV commentators rarely make comments about all the empty seats.
