I think Glen may have just told him if he wants to try the fancy stuff when the puck is deep, he can - just don't force things through the neutral zone because hey, look what happened to Dougie when he tried that last game. Glen tries very hard to let his players use their own creativity - after all, it's been an organizational mandate to draft smart, skilled players with good vision.
