Is it too much to ask to not have every chance against lately be of the high danger variety?

####ing hit and push them off the pucks, don't let them skate right through.

And know who your man is.

Brodie played better with Stone. He and Hamonic still need to get used to each other's play.

Blues very aggressive on the forecheck. We need to do a better job moving the puck out of our end before we cause anymore turnovers
. I imagine Smith will be more aggressive as well in the 2nd and 3rd periods.

Hamonic is a decent d-man, probably top 4 quality, but I think Brodie-Stone are just a better pairing. They have chemistry going right back to the acquisition last season. The Flames win a lot with them together.

Rough period by Hamonic.

Blues had 1.03 xGF that period. Hamonic was on for 0.94 of it.

Stone also has that cannon of a shot, Hamonic does not. Ham and Brodie have awful slap shots

Was the wrong game for him to draw back in, especially into the top 4.

Not great judgement by GG.

Swap him with Stone asap. He has to get his legs/game back.

Great period Jankowski. Flames can't let Blues pass it around in their end for long stretches. Too much time defending.

Boy, Bennett must be stoked for rookie Jankowski but he must be thinking to himself when he'll get his first of the year as Jankowski gets his 3rd of the year

3rd line is looking great. I think the team played decent, just need to limit St. Louis' chances and we'll be fine.
