I'm the same. It's not the difference between me renting and owning but it is the same or less that I would spend of cigarettes in a month.

You should check with Locke, but if you are using for medical purposes, with the amounts you smoke it might make sense to buy through an LP and claim it on your income taxes.

I'm not sure I understand not trusting it from the government. Wouldn't the trust or lack thereof be in how the product works for you, and therefore you wouldn't know until you try it?

It doesn't come from the government. It comes from a company that grows it and sells it to you online. If that's news to you, you should learn more about getting a medical prescription. The cost of the prescription can be included in your medical receipts for your income tax return.

Get a name of a friend of a friend. Friend has to call dealer first to confirm. Meet in some inconspicuous place and purchase an unknown bag of weed.

Or pay $2 more per gram and walk to the store, show my ID, have a choice of dozens of strains and get advice on what to get depending on how I want to feel.

Who is making choice #1?
My less than legal local compassion club has a website I can order from, they carry over 10 types of bud on any given day plus all sorts of edibles, concentrates and many other products. Same day delivery right to my house. Top that with the fact that they have some of the lowest prices I've ever paid.

There also has to be 100 websites I can order 100's of types of good quality bud from without a prescription and have my bud tomorrow.

Private sales need will need to compete with that.

Not on your Corporation unless its part of a business venture, which I'm not sure about the legalities of, but you can certainly claim it on your personal return as a medical expense.

I'm talking about the online sales being run by the government. And it's not because I'm some conspiracy nut as some on her want to try and label me as. The government is incompetent. They #### you will buy from them will be garbage and the service will suck. A private company running it would be better.

I'm surprised so many people these days are just willing to do whatever the establishment thinks they should do. Sheep.

And when the government gets involved in online distribution all of those positives will become negatives.

I know the company. I know the investors. But will they be producing the supply being distributed by the government? Or will it be grown by some clown shoe outfit like prairie plant systems in an underground bunker?

When someone ends a statement with "Sheep" it just solidifies the nut status IMO

I was in Vancouver and Seattle this past weekend and I sampled quite a few dispensaries.

my impressions were it's more expensive than I'm used too, and quality is hit and miss.

What about if I open a dickie-dee bicycle style joint delivery service? I would ride my bike down 17th ave on Saturday nights blasting Bob Marley.

Was there a difference between how they were run in Canada vs. USA?

Not really how they were run, really it was what I expected, but every store in Seattle defiantly had way more selection.

Crazy. I would have expected Vancouver to have more selection. I'm curious to see if we go with a dispensary model or a different kind of store front (like cigarettes)

thats probably because its completely legal in Seattle and 100% illegal in Vancouver.

yes, the city will issue a business licsence for the store to sell it and instruct VPD to not arrest but that doesnt mean the supply is legal.

currently the only way to sell marijuana is to be a licsensed producer and distribute it by registrated delivery services to the prescribed patient. if your weed did not come by a delivery person with your name and doctor printed on it, its illegal weed.

people need to stop justifying supporting organized crime and get with the program.

and yes, even if you dont buy it from HA or whoever, you are still supporting organized crime because they control 99.99% of the illigal supply chain.
