That was a fun game to watch. I was busy running my kids hockey practice so just tuned in right before Jagr scored. That was awesome to see!
Have to give props to the OP as well, thats some funny stuff. Good job!

Just got home from the game. It was a fun one!
Few thoughts:
First, StrykerSteve that could be the funniest thing I've ever seen posted on here. My abs are killing me from laughing so hard!
Second, seeing Jagr score that goal live was incredible. The dome went nuts.
Third, Gaudreau is a superstar in this league and I don't care what anyone says. He's such a treat to watch every night. Easily one of the most consistently entertaining players in the game today.
Fourth, that Ferland goal was a thing of beauty. His game has really come along nicely these last few games. I hope he can keep it up.
Fifth, SOOOOOOOOO nice to finally see a goal from the third line. I thought they played quite well tonight.
Sixth, when Hamonic is back I'd seriously send Bartkowski back to Stockton and keep Andersson up. I really liked his game tonight. Played within his limits and complimented Kulak well (Kulak also had a great game, possibly his best as a Flame).
Overall just a great night. I don't think anyone had a bad game (Gio was a bit off but that was understandable. He wasn't bad, just off).
Late edit - Brouwer beating the piss out of Abdelkader was glorious.

Stryker Steve, sorry late to the party. That was just epic. Pure genius.
You told me to wait, that you had something fun in store, and man did you deliver.
Cheers to you. Just brilliant.

But then one of Kulak or Andersson is sitting every night. Makes more sense to make Bart the permanent press box guy/emergency fill-in. At this point Kulak has proven more (plus he’s a lefty) and deserves to stay more than Rasmus, but he should know he will be back soon with any additional D injuries. It’ll be interesting to see how the D shakes out as 5 of the 6 defenseman are signed for multiple seasons.

Yeah that's a fair point. Better for him to play than sit. Kulak has for sure earned the 6th spot though. He's been way better than Bartkowski so far.

It still true. Dosnt mean all stats are recorded properly
Even Hrudey mentioned that Jagr had multiple give a ways on one shift but managed to get the puck back.

Flames 6 Wings 3
- Jagr fights the puck all night but has his most productive night as a Flame
- Flames continue to prove luck had to even out and fill the net
- Bennett's first point
- Jankowski's first goal
- Kulak and Andersson assert themselves extremely well!
- Brodie is the best at skating the puck out of danger, but Kulak is suddenly a close second

Pretty magical game all around! Happy for all involved. Jagr looked totally on point. Feels like it could be an onward and upward momentum type of thing.
Ferland with the moves! Johnny with the pass. it doesn't get much better.

I think Jagr is going to be a good influence on the team; Because Johnny is now focused on the scoring race all he can think about is winning and scoring goals, gaining points. It puts the player and the team on a whole new level. I think that is how it was with Iggy, he was dominant because he set his goals high.
Jagr also has that infectious about him, kind of like what Theo had where his level of excitement gets the "team" adrenaline going. It is an exciting time to be a Flames fan! Lets get this done, we know what the goal is!

Bright side...
When Kulak one timed a heavy slapper from the point (pass from Anderson...almost at the end of game).... that was so delightful!!! We haven’t seen that from our team for a while!

Thrusting the puck into the net with your crotch is really an amazing way to kick off your goal scoring in the NHL. Way to go Janko!

That was awesome StrykerSteve.
As for the game, Johnny was awesome. I don't remember him dominating games like this last year. Also, really great to get some secondary scoring.
Jagr protects the puck so well -- hopefully Janko and Bennett (and all the young guys) are learning from him.

Watched the game late as usual, so some late comments.
- Top 6 looking really, really good right now. Gaudreau should have been the first star, what a game.
- Bottom 6 looking a lot better with Jagr. Not just the 3rd line, but the 4th line works a lot better with Lazar. I know I've kept saying it, but Versteeg-Stajan-Brouwer was just too slow. Rolling 4 lines is starting to actually make sense now, keeps the top 6 fresh for key situations.
- Nice to see Jagr had probably his best shift near the end of the game. Clearly his conditioning isn't too far off.
- Team defense still needs to improve.
- I'm starting to really like Kulak. Andersson had a nice game, but I won't mind him going back to Stockton to develop once Hamonic returns.
- Ferland on pace for 25+ goals definitely helps.
- I keep saying something so often I decided to just put it my signature
- All the early season line shuffling seems to be bearing fruit, as there were a lot of good plays by mixed lines.
- Full credit to Red Wings, they kept working and played a pretty good game. When did Mantha become that good?
- Overall that was a good, fun game of hockey

instant classic right there. Thanks a lot for the tears of laughter, good sir!
just watched the game ... a fun one for sure. Janko having his first NHL goal assisted by Jagr is such a great story. Really liked the 93-77-68 line, hopefully there's more to come. Also really happy with Rasmus, he looked solid next to Kulak. Way better than Bart, but that's not really surprising.
