Watching the game in Edmonton, hearing first-hand the responses the fans have to, well, anything that happens in the game is an experience in itself. The range of emotions they go through in a single period is hilarious but somewhat troubling. It's like reading the extreme opinions on CP but in real-life, in real-time.
Devil's absolutely owning the Oilers.

According to the Oilers announcers it was an effortless shot by Lucic. And when teams plan to play the Oilers they always say "don't poke the bear (Lucic) because if you wake him up he's impossible to contain"

This keeps getting said but it bears repeating: would it even matter? The Oilers have already spent FOUR #1 draft picks in six years, and look at how terrible they are. I genuinely do not think it matters. They look like they will remain awful forever regardless of who they draft.

Kings announcers all salty over a textbook goalie interference disallowed goal
They complained about it for 20 straight minutes lol...now into the 3rd. He pushed the guy into his goalie FFS.

The Coyotes just can't win, they lose in the SO to the Blues 3-2. Perlini with both of the Coyotes goals. Raanta gave his team solid goaltending in the loss as he faced 38 shots.
It was 0-0 after 2 periods and then the Wild beat the Habs 3-0. Dubnyk was excellent in net with the 41 save SHUTOUT. Jason Zucker scores the natural hattrick including a SHG.
Brian Elliot made 38 saves as the Flyers beat the Bhawks 3-1. The Ducks defeat the Canucks 4-1. Rakell with 3 assists and Silfverber scored 2 goals. Miller was in net for most of the game until he tweaked something and 3rd stringer Reto Berra came in for the final 10 minutes. What is it with teams already going to the #3 goalie or deeper?
The Kings suffered 4 Lightning strikes in under 2 minutes midway through the 1st period! Tampa Bay went on to win 5-2. Stamkos with 3 points.
