They were both bad. Versteeg needs to hustle back. Dorsett is his man.

Brodie has moments where he just forgets how to skate, really odd. Awful back hand pass to start that goal too. He never shoots

Johnny is flying out there. I think we got this, would love to see something from the 3m line here.

Lucky bounce for them, but he was waaaaay out of his net for no particular reason. Not a good play by him either.

Canucks are effing awful. What a baloney game.

Smith really over committed on the SH goal unfortunately. Hasn't been sharp in the last two.

Pointless argument

Bartkowski is consistently garbage, Brodie isn't

Versteeg has been ass all season. Weak plays and coasting most nights and barely producing while being on the first unit PP

I don't think Brodie realized the puck was in no-man's land between him and Smith - looked like he thought it was gonna go all the way down the ice for Smith to play it.

I dunno, that Vanek goal was a snipe, not much we could have done. Brodie def made a mistake but overall we are playing very well. Sometimes the hockey gods just do this #### to you.

Flames need to take advantage of their recent string of playing tired teams, so far they have but they can’t afford to let the one against Vancouver get away from them.

Remember the game they lost to them where the shots were something like 45 to 12 Flames?

These guys get almost a little too fortunate sometimes.

Last game wasn’t great, a brain fart or so in this one. No biggie, he’s human. Time for a few days off.

Lack can go in the next one imho.

Brodie is definitely the goat for this game being tied. That was an extremely lazy effort by him on that play, and I hope he feels shame.

Other than that, the Flames have completely dominated. Canucks have basically had 3 scoring chances all game, and they've been lucky to score on each one. If not for Markstrom the score would be 6-3 Flames.

Versteeg is also not a defenceman and shouldn't have had to backcheck like that if Brodie wasn't terrible

Yup, Brodie was terrible, but that was Versteeg’s man and if there was an actual d on the point instead of Versteeg (who has been useless on the PP all year), that doesn’t happen. Your blind crush on Versteeg and passive aggressiveness towards anyone who dare question him is getting a bit tiresome.

I don’t think Versteeg is a bad player, but GGs refusal to remove him from the PP is maddening.
