				 Celebratory Post-Game GIFs

Can we put a curb on this? Didn't we previously?
Serious case of Deja vu the Post Game Threads are going through. It's getting over the top, it's one poster, then things build after that. Just like before IIRC.

We were just talking about that in the MOD forum, we'll be addressing for next game.

Just curious, what the standards on this is? This gif by Stryker gets posted each time and is fine:
Although she's fully clothed, cleavage is the prominent feature here.

However other ones (mainly posted by Girly) get deleted most of the times. Generally because of skin (and times underware) that's shown. The latest one was a performer in a cheerleading outfit.

What's the criteria here on what's allowed? Amount of skin? The type of clothing visible? Or lack thereof?

I think if people used NSFW tags it would be better for all of us. Drawing a line on this stuff is tough (and annoying). Posters here know we don't encourage it, it would be great if they just stepped up and didn't make things more difficult.

Agree even with NSFW tags we still don't want to see a creeping (hah!) of ever so slightly more and more risque, makes it hard to moderate, there's millions of other gifs out there that don't push the envelope.
The simplest criteria is basically would you want it on your screen when your boss walked by.

I just don't get the need to post these gifs at all. What does a half naked woman have to do with a Flames win? It's just weird and objectifying women.

I think you could safely wait for 20 minutes after the creation of the PGT, and then just delete everything posted up to that point.

What does a clothed man giving a thumbs up have anything to do with a Flames win?

In an effort to non-objectify women, it's almost like we are objectifying them by de facto mandating male-only celebratory gifs. There are some people who believe using black people in gifs is racist, so yeah... http://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-409...mojis-and-gifs
Someone could find something wrong with every single gif.

Not sure what you're referring to but maybe because it's funny? Comedy and sex are two different things and half naked gifs of women aren't comparable to a clothed man giving a thumbs up.

I don't agree with this standard. We're saying that if you're attractive, beautiful, sexy etc. that images of you are harmful and need to be censored, and that's not a message I can support.

You're assuming that this was biased towards attractive sexy gifs. They were the reason this thread was created, no matter how ridiculous the thread title is, but if I was posting unsexy gifs with people half dressed, I'd assume those gifs would also be removed.

No, I'm not. There's no assumption - it's only the attractive women being removed.

I'll take SebC's advice and air my moderation complaints here.
Since when is a person dancing considered soft core porn? I consider it pretty tame. I let my 1 year old watch Moana and it's pretty much 90 minutes of a girl in a bikini. Am I a horrible father? At this rate any gif of a human should be banned and the PGTs can be filled with horses and pickles.

In a different p.o.v your also saying woman shouldn't have any sexual liberation and should be ashamed of their bodies as they are acting like sluts.

Maybe they just should be covered in berkas. THE BODY IS A SHAMEFULLY DISPLAY!!!

I find fully dressed girls just as exciting as half clothes girls.

A girl in a tight dress or nice shirt and hip huggers/ yoga pants could be considered the same.

Gifs with men are no different.

Maybe we should just ban all gifs.

Maybe we should just ban gifs. Altogether . They contain drinking, violence, indecency or obsentity in one form or another. It's so just about p.o.v they all go against the community guidelines.

If I was Muslim or Morman drinking gifs for me would comsidered an obsentity as they are comsidered immoral .

Puppet guys game day posts regularly depict extreme violence which is also against the guidelines.

Im just saying

Thats violent imagery which is against the community rules as well but never gets censored.

Honestly? This is a little over the top from the mod team. That pic is far from explicit, and if that is offending people, I would suggest the internet will be a rough place for such delicate sensibilities.
Slippery slope over moderating a community to appease a couple "offended" parties.
