Bennett's play leading to the Jankowski chance was great.
He'll start getting the bounces, and rack up some points.
Hilarious to see some are giving up on him. He's 21, it'd be idiotic to give up on him because he's snakebitten. He's been our best even strength player in 2 playoffs.

Put me as a minority in the Bennett camp.... we know the talent level is there and I would rather be patient with him then let another team be patient and regret the deal.
I agree they got better as time went on, flames could have scored on the penalty shot, Bennett breakaway, Jankowski set up, etc... I have no idea what scoring chances are at but I would assume they are close despite the shot totals.

Ill give up on 24 year old Sam Bennett. But until then, patience. He's doing a lot of the right things, but the killer instinct isn't there yet.

The constant bonehead penalties and plays are getting tiresome. The fact he seems to lack next to zero finish in this league seriously puts up red flags for me. Not saying he needs to be traded but perhaps he needs to sit and watch for awhile.
