i thought the flames paid a rd too much for smith when they acquired him, but man, he has been unbelievable in net for the Flames this year...

well worth the pick so far...in fact a steal for us right now

Somehow, after that 1st, possibly the worst period of the season, the Flames now have the lead in scoring chances 51.85% and tied in high danger chances.

Are they? Both have been getting 1st powerplay time and haven't delivered. Brouwer hasn't been the worst forward on the team like last season but the bar is pretty low here and he's just playing at a replacement level at this point.

Yeah just ridiculous a guy who was out of the league but because he couldn't get insurance in Switzerland came back for one last shot and got a last minute deal...utterly ridiculous...

They have been the most dangerous line this period but lack finish which is the story of this season so far.

The Janks line hasn't been getting stuck in their own zone nearly as much as the Stajan line, and they've produced some offensive chances. Bench them GG!
