Man looking at the OOT scoreboard and I get so envious that other teams score goals, many more than two even.

Maybe, but a bit late, especially if Tkachuk is out. This team needs muscle, Reaves did nothing last night. Nurse, Lucic, Kassian and Maroon made sure of that. The Flames are the softest team in the NHL by a huge margin.

Whatever, Flames are playing playoff style hockey games and hopefully it pays off...things will change league wide as the season moves along

I don't think you can win games in the playoffs scoring no goals. This team is 2nd last in scoring in the NHL. I don't think anyone had illusions that they were going to lead the league in scoring but this is concerning. Flames have been facing a lot of backup goaltenders as well.

I just mean the style of games they are playing in...obviously they need to bury some chances because they are getting quite a few

Playoffs are 2-1 and 3-2...the whole league will tighten up as the season moves along

But isn't it better to have an "against the grain" PP unit so if it miraculously works you look like a genius?

That potential is worth more than goals.
