Oil fans whining about a clear interference penalty on RNH when they should be wondering why Caggiula and Larsson basically let Malkin score on the PP.

Probably no mention of their two goals....iffy 4 min pp and the other was caused by a bounce off an official.

For the second time in 8 days the Penguins show those Oilers how to win. Matt Murray was the big reason the Pens pulled out the win as he faced 37 shots. Kessel and Letang each had 2 points.

Crawford also made 35 saves for the SHUTOUT as the Bhawks won 3-0 over the Flyers. Elliot also faced 35 shots. The surprise stat was that the Bhawks finally scored a PPG after 18 past power plays. Great breakaway goal by Toews just 20 seconds after Anisimov's goal.

Schneider was awesome in net against his former team as he gets the SHUTOUT stopping all 37 shots. The Devils win 2-0 as they were hanging on to their 1-0 lead until they scored the empty net goal. The Leafs win 3-1 on the road in Anaheim where there were many empty seats because of the World Series over at Dodger Stadium. The Sharks beat the Predators 4-1 and the 3rd period was quite rough as there were 10 minor penalties called along with a fight and misconducts.

Murray made 35 saves, but he could see the shots, and a lot of them weren't difficult, as someone pointed out, the Oilers really only had 7 strong opportunities.

the whole Corsi, outshooting thing that Oilers say is proving that they're eventually going to break out is a massive illusion, they're basically taking shots on net, and not driving, screening or fighting to the difficult areas. For a team that was suppossedly built on toughness and Truculence, they're actually very soft in the offensive zone, with Milan "Gentle Ben" Lucic leading the way.
