Is this really true though?
remember that their opening game was against Fl. St. who before that game was one of a couple other teams thought to be heading to the playoff at season start. Had they not lost their Heisman candidate QB that night, I suspect their season goes a lot different.
Beyond that though, Bama has steamrolled everyone sans Texas A&M whom they beat by 8. Their average score in winning every game thus far is 43-10.
I just cant believe that anyone with critical thinking capabilities could look at what Bama has done this year and not declare them, by far, the best team in the country. Especially those who are paid to do so.
Im no Bama fan what so ever, but its crystal clear to me that if i was forced to pick a team to win everything and who is the best in the business...it would be the guys in red from Tuscaloosa. Maybe im over rating them but whenever i watch them, its no contest.
I understand this will all come out in the wash by seasons end, and hopefully there are a couple upsets along the way to really change things up, but this selection process is showing signs of failure to me and only makes the playoff 4 process scream even louder for at least 8.
Or maybe im just bitter that the Trojans are so under whelming in what was supposed to be a championship caliber year.
