95 kids for us this year in Sunnyside, beating our record number of 86 from last year.

Only about 60 - 70 kids down from 150. Early rain really dampened the crowds.
I always hated getting a bunch of chips and then people giving out pop and dropping it in my pillow case. So many chips crushed and chip bags exploded. The horror, the horror...

Jealous of the amount of kids you all got. I had about 15 all night. Varsity

I had 7 kids in Bridgeland and that includes the 10 month old from next door who was an excuse for his parents to come chat. This might be my best haul ever for halloween candy.

35 kids here in Riverbend.
Our first year here, so didn't know what to expect. Apparently the street next to ours was much busier.

Mostly younger ones, only had 2 teenaged girls. I like it when the parents dress up too and I had a few of those.

Had 124 in West Hillhurst. It was our first year handing out candy (moved from a condo) so we weren't sure what to expect. It is prime trick-or-treating territory though - narrow lots, flat and straight streets and quite a few younger families.

We ended up with 125 in Airdrie. Way down from the last couple years but I noticed about half of them were mainly young kids (5 and under)

Easily one of my favourite parts of town. Exceptionally quiet and beautiful and most people do not seem to know of it. NIMBY mentality can be very strong, especially from snoopy neighbours who count how many people visit your house. The townhouses (if you are picking one) are extremely well built, and the condo reserves are very healthy. The area was unaffected by the 2013 flood, and not in any danger.

It's a mix of retired original owners, and families in their mid 30's. There are also some renters mixed in, but it's a fairly balanced but older demographic. The commute is great and fast for the most part (10-20 minutes depending on rush hour), and easy access by bike.

We had all of 1 kid in Riverbend, neighbor from down the street. Most of our area is older empty nesters. We usually get no more that 15 or so.

We're in a condo, so no handing out candy for us, but we took our daughter and her friends to Sunalta (we're in Beltline) for trick-or-treating. We covered four blocks and she ended up with a crapload of candy - and that wasn't even doing both sides of the street by halfway through. She got tons of gummies, suckers, less chocolate this year. I tend to steal her coffee crisps, was looking forward to it, and then she only ended up with two of them. I was a bit sad.

Had just over 100 kids in Cedarbrae, which was surprising given the weather. Had a box of 160 small chocolate bars, and towards the end of the night I had to switch from giving out 2x to each kid to giving 1 each. Felt like a cheapo.

Things were really slow and grim until the rain let up, had about four until 6pm. Was desperate at this point so stood on the front porch yelling trick or treat hoping to alert anyone in the area. The numbers were down until what I can only describe as a zombie horde showed up. Must have been damn near 40 kids in a massive group, I needed a break after that, it was intense. The seas was angry that day my friends.

Night ended shortly after eight when two pre-teenage'ish girls showed up asking for extras because "like was tough". Asking what they meant the answer of "grade 6 math is killing us bro" was enough to empty my remaining oh henry's and some Jolly Ranchers and wish them well.

sounds like most of my area was dead this year. puppet with low numbers in riverbend , me in douglasglen had 9 , low numbers in douglasdale posted too. kind of a shame in my opinion. my 3 yr old went hard and had a great time. really enjoying halloween again now that I have young kids.

28 for me in Lethbridge. First Halloween in the new house and didn't know what to expect. From talking to the neighbours the numbers were down and was a combination of the rain as well as the community trick or treating for the younger children at the Mall and the Exhibition Grounds. I loaded up all the kids with all that they wanted and every single kid was polite and said thank you as well as Happy Halloween. I love this holiday!

We only had 21 in Glendale. Best costume was a stop sign and didn't even come to my door as he said he had enough. Kids these days, there was no such thing as enough when I was younger.

Maybe 70 kids here. But man I hate answering the door, stresses me right out so I was glad when it was all over. The dog just kept making horrible barking/whining sounds.

We got 20 in Douglasdale which is the most we've gotten since we moved here.

I have to admit to being impressed at some of the amazing Pennywise costumes.

Two is already pretty cheap IMO. 4-5 usually hits the spot.
