Mrs Puppet reports FOUR kids in Riverbend. The weather wasn't that bad, just no kids.

84 in Elgin. But I had to shut 'er down. I have 3 pieces of candy left, I want it, and the kids come in groups of 5+ sometimes, so I don't want to risk someone being left out.

I went pretty wild at the start giving out full handfuls of treats, but then realized I was going to run out pretty quick. Pretty much my first time handing out candy since I've lived in condos before. So I dressed up as Colonel Sanders and they all loved it.

Closing in on 200 here in Country Hills and no sign of letting up. It helps that many in the community get involved with the house decorating.

About 42 in New Brighton, but our street is pretty quiet though during Halloween.

Gotta be close to 200 by now in Air Ranch okotoks. I'm just about out of candy so it's almost time to shut off the lights. Lots of houses that get right into it as well, my neighbour spends weeks preparing and his yard is insane.

We are on a giant loop in a fairly affluent area so we see kids from all over town, including the surrounding towns. That seems to really boost the numbers.

53 in Sunnyside and things seem to have stopped. About 10-15 more than normal.

Advanced stats include:
16 from visible minorities - mostly young
4 kids said no to extra candy - who does that!?
1 kid in a wheelchair - mom ran up the stairs
1 reverse trick or treat

Final total of 108 and I killed the lights and called it a night. Down from last year by about 30, but I think the weather sent some kids to the mall or whatever and our street was a little less decorated and lit up this year.

Looks like it's slowed down enough to call it here in Whitehorn. Had 46 folks, about half in costume, half in anti-rain gear. Not too shabby, given the weather.

Zero, zilch, nadda.... Mind you my street has a lot of retired people. They hit all the houses around our street but not ours.

Growing up we always hit the homes of retired people as they always gave out full sized chocolate bars or chips. Cripes I had chocolate bars for the kids.

Meanwhile my buddy in Calgary had his house egged. His wife decided to give out tooth brushes and he warned that it wasn't a good idea. Oh well we'll see what she decides to do next year.

Yeah that's pretty much begging to be egged. I think some kids have eggs specifically reserved for those evil ones giving out toothbrushes

On a side note, a total of two kids in Point Mckay...the door rang and I almost forgot what it was for.

100+ in bonavista. Usually around 175. Seems like younger kids way down because of weather. Mostly older kids this year.

Too many people give out chips these days. I know when I was a kid no one gave out chips and getting chips was awesome. So now these people are giving out candy and falsely think chips are the best. Now we got 50 bags of chips. No one wants that many.

A quiet night but really nice out later on. From 7:30 - 9:00 was fantastic. Didn't get started until 6:30 because of the train. One house gave us 4 full size chocolate bars per kid:

Only about 60 - 70 kids down from 150. Early rain really dampened the crowds.
