  • Looked solid 5 on 5 - clearly the better team and deserved to win. I liked the more active defensive zone coverage. And saw a bit more offensive zone cycling and forcheck.
  • Didn't like the PP - move your feet more!!!!
  • Won at home against a good team on the second night of their back to back. Im happy, but still have my doubts.

Was flipping back and forth to "The Shining" on Spike during the commercial breaks. Glad there was only one horror show between the two tonight.

Kulak deserves that 6th d spot. Nice win, time to waive some players.

You can live with the odd Johnny turnover here and there when he makes plays like that tonight. People calling for his head during the Minnesota game when he made a bad mistake was Ridiculous.

I feel you, but I wouldn't worry. There will be one tomorrow at the latest.

Oh I agree but it still seems weird that they have two guys that are 4th line level at this point playing on it. I mean, we gotta be the only team in the league who does that no?

I was happy to see the team transitioning in the neutral zone more today, along with more support on pucks and more pinching.

Flames dominated the entire game...sure it was only 2-1 but lets get real, they got one because the linesman couldn't get out of the way

posts, crossbars, some good saves

Caps are lucky they didn't lose 5-0

I agree. Surely you have to try something else it clearly isn't working

Had to have that one, facing the backup goalie and a tired team. Good W.

they were the much better team 5 on 5. i hope now it's obvious even to this management group that kulak is much, much better bartkowski. please don't send janko down. fans deserve a bennett/janko/jagr line.

it might be because they were on a back to back, but the caps couldn't keep up with the flames tonight. a big contrast from when they came through 2 years ago. we couldn't skate with them then
