Had a chance to pass it over to Ferland and then pass back to gio to get Gubauer out of position more too.

I don't get how taking a 4 on 1, simplifying it to a 2 on 1, making a couple passes to get the goalie moving, and then shooting from dead center in front of the net is "too pretty". If anything they simplified it well and got the best possible chance. Goalie made the save. What are you gonna do?

Gaudreau just looking to pass and Gio just looking to shoot made that too easy for Grubauer.

There is nothing wrong with how they executed the 4 on 1. They got a one-timer and Grubauer made a great save.

On four on one? You always make a pass or two. It was a nice glove grab by Grubauer.
An argument could be made that it should've have been a wider pass. Or more last minute.

Um no.... moving the goalie accross the crease is a "basic" stratagy of goal scoring. 2 on 1 or 4 on 1 same thing.

Was worried that we've been making Grubauer look better than he's played...
Then saw the shots. He's done well, and we have played well against a good team
Yay!
