I'm telling you, Gaudreau has already learned something from Jagr about how to protect the puck on the boards and in the corners. He's so much better this year with that. I'm noticing some of Jagr's moves rubbing off on him.

The only problem is how would Backlund and Frolik fare without him? He makes a lot of really great plays on that line. I think I'd be ok with either Ferland or Bennett with those two.

If ferland can play the left side effectively I think that's your natural fit with Bennett again on the 3rd line. Try Bennett with Backlund and see how it goes, if not working out, try Ferland on the left side.
All things considered, Ferland is probably the better player right now.
