Brouwer and Stajan back out on the PK despite how unbelievably horrible they have been on it all season...I was really hoping we were going to get a better 2nd PK unit.
Ok, so I finally figured out why Bennett is struggling this year. He stops skating when he doesn't have the puck. Far too often, as soon as the puck leaves his stick, he watches the play...and is then behind it. As soon as he realizes that he has to keep skating his entire shift, he'll be fine.

Having another high IQ player out there who is responsible defensively really takes some of the pressure off monahan and I think that's beneficial for him scoring.
The 3 best hockey IQs on the roster on the same line.
It's time. Nothing about Tkachuk's game tells me that he HAS to be on the left side. Gaudreau...it matters a little more. Tkachuk could easily be a right winger on that top line.
The only problem is how would Backlund and Frolik fare without him? He makes a lot of really great plays on that line. I think I'd be ok with either Ferland or Bennett with those two.
