This thread has become a running joke. It was created by someone who clearly lacks understanding about what makes a good coach in the NHL. I don't know if he follows teams around the NHL as deeply as he follows the Flames.
Now there's 2 threads on CP with pretty much the same consensus: Fire Gulutzan.

I am glad to see people finally recognizing that GG is a horrible coach.
Considering we traded a lot of picks for the next 2 drafts, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if GG got fired by the end of November if we continue to struggle.
Also, Sutter >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GG. And it's not even close. To argue otherwise, when one has 2 cups while the other had no success whatsoever, is just silly.

It's time Treliving accepted his mistake and moved on. Glen Gulutzan - far more than that incompetent referee - cost us two points last night. And they aren't close to being the only two points he's cost us already this year. And given how easy our schedule has been thus far, he's set us behind the eight ball for the rest of the season. Exactly as he did last year.
The guy simply is not an NHL calibre coach. Admit it, move on, try to salvage the season.

The Scorp answered that question earlier in a post of his own.
If a new coach was brought in now you would need some time for the players to adjust and learn a new system. I don't think the team can afford to do that with all the parity in the game now. Best time for any change is in the off season.
As for Sutter, he's sitting at home without a job. Better question, why isn't he coaching now or more importantly, why didn't someone hire him in the off season. To me that says something.
They haven't learned GG's system yet, after over a year. How much worse could it be?
Really? The Flames were "being too cute"? How many shots on net did the Glass-Stajan-Brouwer line get again? And again, the hockey media not asking the obvious questions.
It should be pretty clear to everyone that GG is skating on very thin ice right now. He has to turn the team around asap. The Flames won't put up with this performance in a year they traded their 1st round pick.
Travis Green got two interviews for the head coaching job. With one of the worst rosters in the NHL he’s achieved a fast start that has eluded Gulutzan in back to back seasons with a superior roster. Just goes to show the thin line between organizations making good moves and bad moves. The team may have been in a better place today if Green gets the job. It will be interesting to see if he can continue pressing the right buttons in Vancouver.

Because those Kings teams could have been coached by you and won. The one year they barely squeaked in and then Quick carried them a lot. They were also a big physical team that wore opponents out physically. The Flames are not that type of team. Darryl Sutter turned Anze Kopitar into an offensive black hole compared to what he was, he killed any offense from Dustin Brown. Look at how those players are doing now they have escaped from that outdated system. The Sutter era is over, good riddance!
Anytime i see anyone post something like this first line of the paragraph. It makes me wonder if they are actually that clueless at everything in life.

So I just got an infraction for calling Scorpion a "little boy". Yeah...that's such an insult brah.
What a joke. Even for the "PG" rating of CP.
Mods are as unpredictable/inconsistent as NHL refs.
Now I expect to get an infraction for this post for the disclosure.
Why do you think it is acceptable to call someone a little boy just because they have a different opinion than you? That type of stuff won't be tolerated. You should be fully capable of disagreeing with someone without that stuff. The way some posters choose to talk to each other is really what is dragging the site down. Take some accountability for how you act on this site
