Tony Romo makes Thursday night football bearable. Excellent commentary. Loving it.

It looks like they might finally snap the ball and end this game so I can go home. Romo is awesome.

Jay Cutler has never been the problem. The team he has played on been the problem

terrible game. Dolphins are just such a tire fire again, despite winning a few games.

Same Dolphins team went 10-6 with Tannehill last year. Obviously the team has deeper problems than Cutler but Cutler is Cutler.

Looks like they're finally taking the bubble-wrap off of John Ross this weekend. Hopefully the kid can stay healthy.

definitely not a solution. A weak band-aid at this point for the Dolphins, but he has never been given the keys to a superbowl team and crashed it.

Shaun King @ShaunKing
Bob McNair, owner of the @HoustonTexans, speaking of NFL players protesting said, “We can't have the inmates running the prison.”
... oh man.
EDIT:
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Texans WR DeAndre Hopkins’ absence from practice today was related to Bob McNair’s comments, per source.

Read that the team had to be talked out of walking out totally, DeAndre Hopkins left for a “personal day” because of the comments. Says a lot about what these owners think of the players that’s for sure.

McNair's comments aren't Donald Sterling level bad, but he's got a huge problem on his hands. Texans fans have to be losing their #### right now.

Here is a really in-depth article on the meeting McNair's stupidity came from.
Well worth the time to read.

Yeah, McNair totally torpedoed the whole debate back to square one.

He didn't even get the saying right as it's "inmates running the asylum".

That's the first connection I made and I really think this is being blown out of proportion. Yes, the comments are somewhat offside but I really doubt there was any intentional racial implication being made.
This analogy has been used for decades, people need to stop being so hypersensitive, jumping for racial connections every time something remotely off kilter is mentioned.

Context matters. Even if it's not intentionally racist, it's still a ridiculously stupid thing to say given the subject matter and who you're speaking to. It doesn't help when it comes from a guy who donated millions of dollars to Donald Trump's campaign.

Fair enough and hard to argue but I still don't see it as anything that was motivated by racial malice. It's getting hard to take when sports is supposed to be the break from all this bs and now half of what you see in the sports outlets is not even sports related anymore.
