Dallas plays tomorrow and then doesn't play until Monday against the Canucks. Hitch would be wise to keep them in Calgary until Sunday

Boeser 3 points too

Up to 9 in 8 games

That Horvat, boeser, baertschi line is showing a lot of promise

I would take Sven back on a RW spot. Not sure he ever will be as good as he could’ve been though. He’s missing something.

So glad we didn't sign Bishop for 7 (!) years

His draft +1 year he looked like he could be a top line play driving winger

Don't think he's going to ever be that, but he's already at least a very good 2nd line player, the fears about his defensive play were misguided or have been fixed

Yeah but it took his draft team and multiple coaches giving up on him for him to get it together. That wasnt going to happen in Calgary.

Was at the Oilers game tonight. Brutal defensive zone play and goaltending by Dallas. Edmonton has one good shift all game (by the fourth line), otherwise nothing.

So in 10 games, Derek Doresett of all people has 6 goals and 2 pts...and Bennett still has zero. Stars are expected to have Lehtonen in net tomorrow, hoping for an offensive explosion from the flames.

I doubt anyone here would have bet 50 cents on the Kings, Vegas and Vancouver being the top three teams in the division after 10 games.

Vegas and Vancity aren't going to remain there. It will be interesting to see if the Kings keep it up all year.

Agree on Vancouver, they had a great start last year and fell of the face of the earth. I wouldn't bet on Vegas though, they have some good pieces and Fleury should return soon. With that said though, I see them doing well this season with possibly regression next year.

Weber was -4, ouch. Price seems checked out. Terrible body language, and he got a bunch of Bronx cheers

Gotta agree that the Canucks are going to fall back to earth, but, coach Green is doing a good job early on and having both goalies play well. It's a bit surprising to the Canucks win 6-2 over the Capitals The Oilers, well just let Remenda go crazy. The Oilers beat the Stars 5-4 in reg time, whoopee.

The Senators had a 3-0 lead and had to hang on for a 5-4 reg win. The Habs revert back to their losing ways, 4-0 loss to the Kings. Quick with the 40 save SHUTOUT. Kessel has that OT magic as he scores the GWG for the 2nd game in a row. The Pens beat the Jets 2-1 in OT with Murray and Hellebuyck in net. The Sharkies lose 2-1 in reg time to the Bruins, Khudobin was sharp in the Bruins net as he faced 37 shots from the Sharks and Heinen scored both goals.

It's Coyote ugly as the dogs lose again, this time 5-2 to the Rangers. The Wild get 2 SHGs on the Isles as Minnesota wins 6-4. The Isles PP is just as pathetic as the Sabres, both have the most SHGs scored against them! Kucherov with a goal and an assist as Tampa Bay beats Detroit 3-2 in reg time. Howard kept the game close as he faced 38 shots. LOL on the Leafs losing 6-3 on home ice. Cali Panthers must be very happy, those cats went on a scoring rampage, 8-3 Panthers over the lame Ducks.

We have seen the Canucks get off to quick starts only to fall off but you can't take away that they are playing great hockey under Travis Green. Makes me wonder what could have happened if Treliving hires Green instead of Gulutzan. I haven't been paying full attention to what he's done but given their quick start I imagine there's not a lot of square peg in round hole stuff going on there that we have become familiar with under Gulutzan.

No Thanks. $10 million for a goalie will handcuff your team and we'd have to give up one of our good players who still needs to be paid.

Vegas is not gonna stay in the top three... eventually they will have to play some road games.
