Maybe but the Flames have a reputation and it seems the officials are looking for the infractions to call against them.

Bennett has been so much more noticeable, great to see.

Need to take advantage of the third Predators' D pair. Tougher on the road, but they need to try.

Bennett best player for the Flames. Not a coincidence.

Gulutzan is Eakins 2.0
Huge miss by Treliving on the Brouwer signing and the coach hiring. Needed to bring in an established coach like Boudreau, Gallant etc.

He's benched players for penalties, as recently as last game.

The youngster line is holding the zone well but can't set up a good shot.
But then it leads to the Backlund line getting chances. Something they're probably not used to coming off a Bennett line shift. Those good shifts are infectious.

Because the infraction has no impact on the play. Puck was long gone and really it was minimal contact with no chance of injuring a player. No harm no foul IMO.

The stajan penalty was as easy a penalty as there is to call in the NHL.

Zero chance GG does anything to take advantage, other than perhaps sending out the first line of their 3rd dpairing ices the puck. That is his entire playbook.
