Got mine an hour ago. With it available at pharmacies, it is to easy. Laziness is no longer an excuse.

We got ours yesterday, about a 25 minute wait at Brentwood at 4:30pm.
If you don't have kids just roll up to a pharmacy (like Safeway), I did that last year and it took about 5 minutes to get the shot. Then you can do some shopping while you wait the 15 minutes after.

Missed the day they were available at my office, so I'll have to go to my doctor like a peasant.

Got mine a couple weeks ago.
Vaccines = good for all. Yes, the flu shot is less effective than others, simply because the at risk patient population is already weak and immuno-compromised.
I get mine to help protect them.

Or walk in to most pharmacies and save the hassle of a doctor. I went to one downtown. In and out in 10 minutes.

I'd like to get the flu shot, but when I used to get it, I would feel like a sack of hammers for 4/5 days, so then I thought why get the shot......

I don't think they are offering it this year, except under special circumstances. It is more expensive.

Was a huge lineup last night at South Calgary Health Centre for shots, but it moved really fast.

I walked by Shoppers Drug Mart last night, and noticed flu shots were being offered. No line, I was there, so why not?
Anyway, it was really dead, so I asked the pharmacist why he thought there was so much polarization surrounding flu shots, and he deflected my question and began listing the benefits and the science or something--I don't know, this isn't my first rodeo, I wasn't really listening.
Then I asked him if it’s because it’s made from the tears of monkeys as they carve out their heart with a spoon. He just paused what he was doing, slowly looked up, and in that split second when we made eye contact, both of us inscrutably sized the other up in a hawk-dove standoff before he continued opening the syringe and drawing the vaccine from the vial. He didn't make eye contact with me again and told me to wait around for 10 minutes as he put the band-aid on.
I went and bought a lottery ticket and pack of gum.

Waiting to see if they will offer them here at work, if not then I will likely go to a pharmacy.
Nasal spray is still being offered, just not by AHS. You can still purchase it at some places for an additional fee.

Got mine yesterday. I work with all 20 something's and they're all buying into the conspiracy theories so they aren't going.

Just got mine. I was at the clinic for a routine checkup and they had it, so we tacked on an extra minute or two to the consultation to have it done.
It does indeed seem like it's way easier this year than many other years to get a shot.

My wife is pretty bad with needles, but they strongly recommended adults don't use the spray last year, and they don't offer it this year as many have mentioned. The year before, my wife had pain in her arm for months afterwards so we were very cautious and concerned. We ended up doing it at our Doctor and the nurse that did it was really good. Didn't even feel the needle go in, and no issues afterwards.

2 out of 4 of us have gotten our flu jab. Just got mine a bit aho. Hit my local Shoppers up and no wait - I find going between 230-330 you miss all the parents trying to get theirs before school pick up and the people getting off work at 4 and stopping in.

This has been the worst cold & flu season that I can remember, I'm on my second illness in two months. I'm looking to see if others have the same issues that I've been having.
I've had a cold for 26 days now, with very minor symptoms. Anyone else with this long term type of cold? I'm trying to gauge if there is a specific strain going around and how long I should expect this to last.
