Blows my mind sometimes how unfocused the Flames look a lot of the time. But it's weird, because they look like nothing can beat them when they're on their game then you get this kind of Busch league dopeyness and all we're left to do is scratch our heads.

That slash only happens because the pass gets across in the first place. Flames D is absolutely lost. They’re playing passive, scared hockey.

So you want him to do nothing and let the guy have a great scoring chance? Sometimes taking the penalty is the best option.

Celebrated Square Root Day
|
We're past the point of a significant amount of fans filing in late and there looks to be no more than 13k buts in seats (and it looks like 3k or more are Flames fans).
Ticket sales had been declining in recent years but there must have been a serious drop off in season ticket this off season. Even last year they never announced below 17500, and they already have a 15500 this season.

It’s okay. Like Hamilton, Gaudreau, Monahan, Backlund, Brodie, Giordano, and every other player we’ve actively watched develop with a few bumps along the way - everyone is fed up with his low IQ/poor skill/general suckitude. Their patience has run out (ha...like it ever existed in the first place).

Praise be to Treliving for the presence of Mike Smith. Good lord this team is asleep at the wheel.
