Yep only positive about this game is Jagr looks good. Might just have to move him up onto that first line and do something else with Bennett(maybe they could send him to some IQ seminars).
He's made huge saves tonight and had no chance on three of four. They could easily have 6 or 7 tonight without the top level goaltending that Smith provides.

Bad games happen. This is one of them, but what concerns me is it comes right after Gulutzan calls out the team saying they need to be better. That I don't like.
The Flames had held Ottawa to only 2 or 3 actual scoring chances after 40 minutes.
Oh god Cassie is so clueless. When do we get Hrudey back?
It's been mentioned a lot but he has a HNIC gig on Saturdays so he misses any games on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, which unfortunately is a lot of games.

Man Stajan is a great guy but we need to upgrade his position
Kind of unfortunate that we have the perfect replacement in Jankowski. I think Brad has likely made it a priority to get one of Stajan or Brouwer traded as soon as a team is willing.
Someone speculated that it my happen after the 9 game mark when a lot of teams have finished trying out young guys for the season and send them back to junior, opening up a bunch of bottom six NHL spots around the same time/
[QUOTE=Cali Panthers Fan;6415895]Ok, this forum is going to melt down over this one tonight, so I'm going to peace out until tomorrow when we all realize that bad nights happen to every team in this league.
Bad luck led to poor habits which led to a blowout. Something to learn from and move on.[/QUOTE
Poor habits have led to a team which defensively has arguably been amongst the worst teams in the league. Smith is the only luck involved / he has been great!
