If Glass suddenly is out of the lineup as a regular going forward, might as well use his roster spot for someone else

That is my one issue with Ferland, he doesn't seem to be able to consistently grasp the chances he gets.
Hope he can finally get it figured out and become a integral part of the team.

Glass offers more than F Hamilton. Glass is fine as the 13th forward and has more compete than a few players on the roster so far, Ferland included.

Have to think Anderson gets the start against Edmonton, Condon goes tonight. Don't think he has played yet this year? Not a bad scenario for the Flames.

Literally part of Glass's job is to be the guy who is able to sit games when needed, and be grateful for the opportunity.

Exactly ...
He's been a good fit, but I would guess he was never a plan for 82 games.

Freddie takes care of Dougie (mostly speculation from the morning show butninthibknit could be true). Having a 13th forward that makes our top 2 D better is more important than a 13th forward that will throw and take punches to the face.

Smith first off this morning. He’ll make his fifth straight start tonight.
So means Lack tomorrow

I am really happy to see these lines. Glass has done a good enough job for his role and the coaches are insisting that it is important to have a guy like him in the line up against the bigger and tougher teams. I was a bit worried that he would be used every night but it appears like they have him as a role player and are able to figure out when they won't need him and can ice a more talented line up. This is encouraging and the line up looks great.

Big opportunity for Lazar tonight on the first line - hope he makes the most of it, in addition to rubbing some salt in the Senators wounds!

Meritocracy exists!
GG sure loves giving players the chance to stick it to their old clubs.
