Wonder how that compares to, say, 10 years ago. Now that the Internet is very mainstream, almost every business (and even a lot of individuals) have websties. Back in its infancy, I'd wager the proportion was quite a bit higher. That's just a guess though, since the article didn't mention any previous numbers.

yea - i can buy that only 1% of websites are porn. but a much much higher % of content (data amounts - GB) on the internet is porn i'd bet.
