PK has been good, more energy is needed. Ferland needs to start laying some hits and causing turnovers or he's gonna be seeing the press box

Brouwer is having the best game he's had in a LONG time.
Bartkowski is awful.

Lucky to get out of that period with the lead. We're in a good spot now

Yikes, almost got turned there. The ugly side of Smith's proactive puckhandling shows its head. Can only hope that the good outweighs the bad at the end of the year.

Nice to get out of that period with the lead. Flames were really back in their heels there. Need a much better effort in the 3rd if they want to pull this out. Ger your legs moving fer f--- sakes and get back to that killer forecheck you had in the 1st.

Kelly sounds like he needs a nap or a coffee.
Hearing Rick Ball call "gaudreau on the half boards to Jagr..." was so awesome it gave me giggley chills!

Bart gets stuck on the ice a lot, I know he's the whipping boy but holy hell let's limit his ice time a bit more.

Well Bart got caught out there for about a two and a half minute shift there, so that bumped up his total a lot.

Kind of annoying that we've run the Kings' show for 35 minutes and we're only up 1.

Interesting analysis by Friedman of Brown's role under Sutter vs Stevens.

What happened to Ferland? He doesn't hit and looks confused out there
Monahan and Gaudreau need to be split up. Monahan needs to stop looking exclusively for Gaudreau. It's like he doesn't believe he can make plays happen on his own.
More Gaudreau/Bennett/Lazar. Loved their speed
And put Monahan with Jagr and Versteeg. I think their cycle game would be ridiculous and Monahan is an elite triggerman who would eat off of their passes

Ferland hasn't been bad but just too quiet for a guy who gets 1st line and top pp mins.

So far Ferland can only seem to really play well on the top line in spurts, he shouldn't be handed a top 6 role right now.
If he doesn't pick it up Janko may take that top 6 role from him, I actually would prefer that. Ferland needs to understand that if he's not playing with energy and battling hard for loose pucks he's not as effective. He can't be playing a finnese game, he's not good enough
