That is what it looked like to me as well. Just one of those hits that is hard to watch. Stone just crushed his arm into the boards as he was going the other way.

Ferland is/was fine on the first line when he plays like Michael Ferland. It's when he tries to channel his inner Crosby that he looks out of place. All he has to do is go north/south, forecheck and drive the net.

I’m leaning towards shoulder based on how open the joint was when he was hit. Plus, his arm was dangling in the way to the bench. Having broken my arm playing hockey, I think he would have supported the limb if it was broken.
