Just watching this stuff on KTLA (ch 60 on shaw) and it looks like dozens and dozens of houses are on fire.
If that's the case and the wind doesn't stop, I can see them cancelling any large events as a matter of public safety. I would imagine all first responders are likely on call or on the job now, and filtering some to a hockey game wouldn't make much sense.

Anyone else get the feeling Gulutzan will start Lack tonight?
I'm nervous.
I think they'll wait til SAT in VAN to let Lack have his 1st start.

Isn't there a fire in Anaheim right now? Hopefully they don't cancel the game. Otherwise this is one of those weird things that happens in Anaheim to prevent the Flames from winning...
Saw the fire coverage a few hours ago on an LA channel, and it looks like the fire has grown considerably since then. I believe Anaheim Hills is around 10 miles from the Honda center, but would guess air quality will be an issue.
Who makes the decision if the games canceled? The city of Anaheim? Can the ducks just cancel it? They are very injured right now, it would be in their favor to cancel the game to a later date.
Hope everyone is ok though, hopefully they can play the game

Another day, another student for @68Jagr, who shows @TKACHUKycheese_ a trick of two. He's been great with #Flames young guns.
Tkachuk already has the most Jagr like puck protection on the team. If he learns more from Jagr he's going be a nightmare for defenders along the boards and around the net.

I am sure his father leaned a few tricks from Jagr as well
Had to work all thanksgiving weekend away from family. Beatings the ducks is all I've had to look forward to. Hope the game goes on and everyone stays safe in Anaheim.
I’d say the bigger factor for cancelling the game, rather than air quality, as I think the wind is blowing the fire away from where the Pond is, would be if they have to shut more freeways down.
