Yeah, Curtis Lazar has potted a career high 6 goals, twice.
Ovechkin has 7 in two games.

What? It's showed EXACTLY that? They just ended their chance at coming back because of it.

Oof. Matheson takes a high hit down in the corner from Kucherov of all people, and the soft spoken Barkov goes after him. This is going to be quite a rivalry this year.

Loved that emotion on the bench with the fist bump. He's becoming quite the leader for the Panthers.

It didn't deter Vigneault from challenging. I suppose it might make him think twice the next time though.

Canucks give up a goal to Kris Russell on the first shot of the game and follow that up 2 minutes later with a too many men penalty
Oh and the fans booed the coach during announcements because he benched boeser, one of the very few players the fans are excited to see
So all in all, better than expected so far

Nice goal from Horvat
Wish Monahan could that even once, would add such an extra dimension to his game

Kris Russell scores on his first shot of the game and he's still been the first player on the ice
I didn't think they could out do Lucic contract in terms of badness, but oh my

For anyone complaining about Glen Gulutzan, the Canucks' new coach, Travis Green, who presumably is here to provide over the rebuild and give the kids a chance, has scratched Brock Boeser in favour of Derek Dorsett.
Hahahaha.

Hahahaha.

Green said the reason is line matching.
Dorsett is part of their checking line with Sutter and Granlund.
He had a huge hit resulting to a turnover where Sutter scored...

Yeah, no. There's no excuse for scratching one of the few guys who might make your fans want to watch a team that's in for an excruciating season. If you absolutely feel you must play Derek Dorsett (lol), scratch someone else. Burmistrov, maybe. Hell, you'd be better off scratching Baertschi or Eriksson than your supposed calder trophy candidate.

Again, do not care. You find a spot for your young star and move someone else to C.
Plus, I believe Burmistrov is playing RW anyway, as they have Henrik, Horvat, Sutter, Gagner, Granlund and Burmistrov all in the lineup, all of whom are natural centers.

their coaching staff dressed a lineup for this game cause they felt it will give them the best chance to match against Mcdavid, so far its working.
