Gimme a break. If the Flames actually show up, this is a totally different game. Yea, McDoofus is good. But the Flames beat themselves tonight.

Smith was great though. That's exactly the kind of goaltending we were missing last season. If the team can find it in themselves to get their heads out of their arses, I think we'll have a successful season.

Our system was terrible tonight. All we did was pass it to the next guy up until they got it, dumped it in and chased the oilers back to our own zone. No one finished checks, and we didn't have any chances. I hope this isn't a system thing, but a lack of execution and not changing strategies when it doesn't work

Smith was the only bright light tonight. And Benett had some good flashes, beyond that everyone else was garbage. Of course we had to gift mcdoofus that 3rd goal to embarrass us even further to cap off the night.

I don't like GG either, but he's better than Hartley. Entertaining to watch? Maybe, but I'd rather watch playoff hockey more than one season out of three.

We talk about Bennett's performance and how he's stuck with Brouwer. It's time to consider Monahan's performance when he's stuck with Gaudreau. Ferland and Monahan were not the problem with the line tonight. This was another game where Johnny was basically nonexistent.

Enough with the longing for Hartley garbage. His style wore thin very quickly and a reason he’s not had a coaching sniff then. His playoff appearance saved his job another year, and likely had Treliving cursing that he couldn’t get his guy in there earlier.
