McDavid is a phenomenal player, but his interviews are cringe worthy.
Rather talk to a scrub that has something to say.

They might want to shadow him, like Gretzky.

How many shots was that? I didn't hear the first time five seconds ago.
Would've been nice to have Jags in to steal a little bit of the panel's discussion.

you realize we have an 86 game sample size on Gulutzan now? He's simply not good.

I already accepted it was going to be a 3 hour mcdavid booster juice fest

Do they 'shadow' players at the nhl level?
I'd be fine with just investing in one forward just skating in front of mcdavid all shift, playing like a press coverage, to disrupt his first few steps not allowing him to hit his stride so quickly.

Wow, it only took one period of hockey where we are losing by a single goal from the best player in the league to pull out the pitchforks for Gulutzan.
It's a new record everyone!!!!

Despite what some other posters are saying, I thought Brodie looked good & confident out there. I'm excited to see the whole defence corps succeed.

You realize the Flames have a record winning streak under him right? That Hamilton and Backlund had their best seasons ever, Tkachuk thrived, Ferland picked it up and he took the Flames from way out of the POs to easily in?

Maroon-Mcdavid-Leons - best line in NHL
Lucic-RNH-Yashinkamoton - average second line at best
caggulia-strome-jokinen - a fourth line on most teams
khaira-Letestu-Kassian - a fourth line on every team
Defense is below average; Goalie is top 5
Not a good team. Just the best line in hockey and a top-5 goalie

bigrangy is spot on. Brodie went from a creative wheeling and dealing puck rusher who was third in 5-on-5 scoring rate to a cookie cutter point-shot defenseman (and he always had a crappy point shot) whose only offensive instinct is to get pucks deep.

Brouwer again kills the play.
Don't care if the Brouwer talk is getting annoying
He is terrible. Every shift.
