Usual Andy Reid awesome regular season, followed up with mediocre playoffs. Seen this show before.

So raise your hand if before the season, you had Alex Smith as the quarter-pole MVP? I'm pretty sure I had him being replaced at some point in the year. But he's been very good, he's still playing with the game manager ball protection, but with more edge, and is throwing the ball as well as ever.

Why don’t the officials throw flags when teams swarm the field like that, when the extra point still needs to be attempted? Shouldn’t everyone on the field without a helmet get a penalty at least?

then what? take the convert from their own 5? they'll just kneel anyways.

Someday, it’ll actually mean something to call those penalties, and they need to call the rules.
Mostly I just want to see the chaos though.

actually the NFL isn't the CFL, can only have 1 penalty at once so only a 15 yarder.

Wohoo! I had given up and then suddenly that last second touchdown gave me the win, had the chiefs at -7.
Fantastic stuff

Hey, it was early in the game and the Chiefs offensive line was already playing with a LG at center and just lost the right guard.
Eventually though attrition took out the Washington defence. You could see things turn in the second quarter, especially after the Norman injury. Plus good fortune on that TD drop.
Alex Smith played well though. He's far better throwing the ball down field this year. I remember the Matt Cassel and Brady Quinn disaster..things have been way better with Smith. One thing with him is that you can't question his character.

I'm curious as to how that appeal went and if the reports of Adams possibly being ready for this week's game had anything to do with it? I'm not sure how the NFL handles suspensions as opposed the the NHL.
Either way 2 games was fair and it should have remained at 2

starts at the top and Spanos is a joke. the team has the losing culture, wait until Rivers retires and we are talking Cleveland bad for many years

It's long been an organization that's treated people in a questionable way.
At one point they had cultivated some really good talent. But they let Drew Brees go for nothing....yes they had Rivers but getting a compensation pick...bad. Than they axe Schottenheimer after 14 wins with no real plan to replace him. Every team eventually loses veteran players but the Charger's are better than every other NFL team at making sure the guys leaving are really bitter.

Hopefully the NFL steps up and fines his ass. Should be zero tolerance for that kind of behaviour.
